Arbitrage calculator

Enter the odds from two sportsbooks and how much you want to bet. It tells you if it's an arb, how to split your stake, and what you get back either way.

OutcomeOddsStake

Odds can be American (+142, -112) or decimal (2.42). Prices move fast, so check the number in each sportsbook's bet slip before you place anything. Looking for arbs to plug in? See today's live arbs, updated about every minute.

How the math works

Every price implies a chance. +142 implies 41.3% and -112 implies 52.8%. Normally the two sides add up to more than 100%; that extra is the sportsbook's cut. When two different books disagree enough that the best prices add up to less than 100%, you can bet both sides and get paid no matter what happens.

To lock in the same return either way, you bet on each side in proportion to its implied chance. That's what the calculator does: it splits your total so every outcome pays back the same amount.

Over 32.5 at FanDuel+142 · $43.89
Under 32.5 at DraftKings-112 · $56.11
Either way you get back$106.21 (+6.21%)

Questions

What is an arbitrage calculator?

It works out how much to bet on each side of a game when two sportsbooks disagree on the price, so you get the same return whatever happens. If the prices don't leave room for that, it shows how much you'd lose instead.

Does it work with American and decimal odds?

Yes. Type American odds like +142 or -112, or decimal odds like 2.42. You can mix them.

What does 'I already bet one side' do?

If you've already placed one side, enter that stake and the calculator tells you how much to put on the other side to lock in a profit (or to cut your loss if the prices moved).

Why round to $5?

Bets in odd amounts like $43.89 can stand out to sportsbooks. Rounding to $5 makes the bets look normal. The calculator shows the slightly uneven payouts that rounding causes.

Is arbitrage betting legal?

Yes. It's just betting at more than one sportsbook. Books don't like it, though, and some will limit accounts that only bet off prices.
